| After having obtained her degree at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale of Lausanne in 1993; Claire MOLLET BARMADA was asked to construct the project she had conceptualised for her degree; the François-Xavier Bagnoud Astronomical Observatory in St. Luc in the Canton of Valais. In 1993 she started her independent career and opened her own office. At the end of 1994 she obtained her postgraduate degree in civil engineering on wooden construction at EPFL. Since, Claire MOLLET has been appointed for the construction of various buildings, she works for private clients as well as for governmental projects. Her concern lies in perfecting details whether it be in her approach, the integration of a project in it's site, respect for the constructed environment, concern of economical energy of a project in relation to sustainable development and to create living spaces in harmony with their users. |
